I recently bought the above CD, cheaply from amazon.com. No liner notes were included. I was able to print out the track order online so I know what I'm listening to, but nothing else. An online review mentioned John Fletcher playing a couple of the tunes. Is he the tubist on all tracks? The whole group plays fabulously. And does anyone know where I can download the liner notes?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, Fletch on all. If you struggle I could scan them for you.

Re: Philip Jones Brass Ensemble Greatest Hits
I am sorry about the preceeding post. I was trying to quote Andy who said that John Fletcher is on all of the tracks. I would like to add that John Jenkins is second tuba to John Fletcher on the Pictures at an Exhibition selection. Jenkins may also be with Fletcher on the Fanfare fur die Stadt Wien, but, I cannot say that with 100% authority. I have most of the orignal recordings on which the selections appear. I grew up listening to recordings of the PJBE. They were to me as rock stars are to many.

Thanks for the great info. This double CD is the best brass recording I own, with the possible exception of The Glory of Brass or whatever it's called with the three symphony brass sections.
