Anybody have any idea who played tuba for this performance?
This tuba sound is HUGE!!! talk about orchestra "slaying" :)

Well, the tuba can certainly be heard. But, I wouldn't call the articulation legato in the solo section.

Legato?????

Broad - as opposed to staccato. The phrasing marks are just that - not meaning a smooth legato style. The tuba drives things rather than just sliding along.
