There was a band in the late 70's or early 80s going by that name - the tuba player was Harold (Hal) Tyler. I heard the tape from a janitor in my local shopping mall in Va who apparently used to sub with the band on drums. He said they were from Ohio. Maybe it's a different band.
This band was a good blues band using a lot of electric guitar and harmonica. One of the tracks was called "Stumble of the Fumble Bee"

I assume so. I heard the tape in 1991 or 1992. A few years later (maybe 1994) a friend of mine in NYC (Kenton McPeke - anybody know where I can find him?) met Harold Tyler at the Richmond audition. I think he'd been living in Minnesota or somewhere like that.
I've lost my copy; it's a shame. The playing was fantastic, but the music was even better.
Here's a bit of post-modern trivia - I think the janitor guy said the band had done some promotional work for the Ohio launch of Jolt! cola. That should help to date it somewhat.
