Very likely to be Fred Pfaff. Fred came over to Victor because of working for Arthur Pryor. Shilkret was one of Victor's house conductors for years; even conducted some of the Sousa band records. Pfaff was an extremely busy guy for many years in NYC. Did tons of radio shows, too. Pfaff can be seen in some of kinescopes of the early Voice of Firestone shows too.
