I heard Hojo play bass sax duets (don't remember the other musician...) at the old Knitting Factory (when it was in Manhattan) several years ago. It was a big deal that the show was to be broadcast online. The kid interviewing him before the performance referred to the horns as bass (as in fish) saxophones. Hojo chuckled and corrected him nicely. I also had a chance to chat with him for a few minutes after the show. Pretty cool.
