.... on the OLD Star Trek (TOS)? We've been watching them on Netflix and there was some AWESOME tuba & bass bone playing.

I don't think Jim was in L.A. until the early 70s or so.

Hello,

I am not sure if this the right place to post this so please excuse me if is not. Joesph J. Novotny passed away from natural causes on December 30, 2014 at the age of 92 in Casper, Wyoming. Joe was my uncle.

I played tuba and bass trombone on the last 4 seasons of the Star Trek series. Before me it was Slide Hyde. I'm sure Tommy Johnson and Don Waldrop did some episodes too.

Do you mean the last four seasons of The Next Generation? The original series only had three seasons.
