Curb Your Enthusiasm?

I'm sure anyone who's watched it has noticed the abundance of tuba playing in the theme music(a lot of segue music is solo tuba). To my ears it sounds like 2 different tubists are used... one with a ballsy but unrefined tone(my guess: an anonymous archive recording, likely foreign), and one with a beautiful tessitura(my guess: Tommy Johnson).

Anybody know for sure?

I watched the Season 4 finale last night("Opening Night") and man... That was possibly the best written episode of any sitcom that I have ever seen.

A reliable source told me that the music for "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is on an album called "Comedy, Burlesque and Circus Music". The tune itself is called "Frolic" and was written by Luciano Michelini. It is on the BMG label BPM 33008. The player is still a mystery. Northern

Bump. I just got "into" watching Curb Your Enthusiasm (great show, by the way) and I'm a little depressed that the tubist(s?) remains a mystery. Any new leads?
