What a great tuba sound on this recording! Who gets the credit?

I've got that album. It was possibly Chris McShane. I heard them on their US tour in the mid to late 90's and he was their tuba player. He sounded fantastic on Mahler 5, used an e-flat.

Those RPO recordings are epic. In the right hands an EEb is massive. All you need.
