Looks like they had a brass quintet, or Dixieland combo, I saw and heard the tuba on the 10 PM news, anyone know who was playing?

Ted Butterman leads the Dixieland combo that walks through the stands during the game and plays between innings at Wrigley. The tuba player has been Mike Walbridge in the past.

The way the Cubs have been playing so far this season, they need all the diversions they can muster for their fans. Their performance on the field has been dreadful.

Come on Steve, the season is just a week old. It usually takes until June 1 for the Cubs to be out of it!

I would say that it was Mike Walbridge. I may be able to contact him to ask if you'd like. He most likely would have had a YamaHolton YBB-103 or a big Martin bellfront. Mike is a really nice guy and a good player. I have heard him twice, oddly enough not on his horn, but mine. In addition to tuba he plays trumpet, string bass, and bass sax.
