Disenchanted on Netflix

Post by Casey Tucker »

Hey everybody,

Anybody know who's playing the opening credits for Disenchanted on Netflix? it's the new animated series by Matt Groening and it is VERY tuba/euph heavy. it almost sounds like a tuba/euph quartet with a few other band instruments.

I watched a few episodes today and thought about making the same post. Tuba-heavy score with some nice brassy playing. Thumbs up to whoever recorded for Disenchanted!

Same...was watching this and loving the score. Some awesome tuba/brass playing and very cool music. I was happy to note that it is not synth tuba (like on Schitt's Creek). Who are the big studio guys now? Jim Self, Doug Tournquist? Any new hotshots?

Thanks,

That was Gabe Sears on Disenchanted! He teaches at Long Beach State and I believe he has an album in the works!
