Hi Tubenet,

I recently purchased a record of the 1984 Chicago Symphony orchestra conducted by Claudio Abbudo playing Symphonie Fantastique.

I was wondering if anyone knew who played the Tuba parts in it. It was when Arnold Jacobs was still principal so I’m assuming he’s playing, but who else. If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated.

Off the top of my head, I think it was Rex Martin and Arnold Jacobs (the hi Bb is RM)
