The Rite of Spring | LA Phil

Post by Cheddar »

Hi everyone,

Would anyone happen to know who is playing/played 2nd tuba to Norm in this? I think this is the video version of the album they made with Esa-Pekka, yes? I've listened to the album, but I always reference the video recording whenever I need an added adrenaline rush.

Stay healthy! :tuba:

It might not have been in the video you linked. I think there was more than one from that performance.

Fritz's wife Monica played clarinet in the LAPO for a number of years, and I know Fritz played 2nd at least on a John Adams recording and performance. I'm sure there was more, but that's all I know about.
