F tuba mouthpiece recomendations
so i know i should try a bunch of mouthpiece to find the one that's "right for me" but i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for where to start looking for a really good F tuba mouthpiece. right now i'm using a schilke 69C4 because it's the only thing i have other than my huge LOUD mouthpiece

You know, it sorta depends on the F tuba, in addition to your chops.me wrote:so i know i should try a bunch of mouthpiece to find the one that's "right for me" but i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for where to start looking for a really good F tuba mouthpiece. right now i'm using a schilke 69C4 because it's the only thing i have other than my huge LOUD mouthpiece
On my B&S, I'm using a Mike Finn 4, which I think is a great mouthpiece on this tuba. The standard F tuba mouthpiece for the B&S is the PT-64, but on my horn the Finn provides more clarity and a more open sound.
