Café 1930?

Post by Albertibass »

Very Awesome recording on Steven Mead's World of Euphonium 4. Does anyone know where to get the actual sheet music to café 1930?

thanks

Google it. I did and I found it. Use the force or your computer whichever is stronger.

If you didn't already know, Café 1930 is the second of four movements in Piazzolla's "Le Histoire du Tango" (History of the Tango)...it's a really cool suite. The outer movements aren't really that accessible on euphonium, but the inner two are really fun/doable. Mead does some stuff that's out of the standard arrangement, as does Yo-Yo Ma in his "Soul of the Tango" CD. I'd recommend that one as well.

It is in treble clef...but that shouldn't be an issue.

G'luck.

wow :) :) :) :) :) :) You just made my day. Thank you very much.
