Czardas on BBC's Listen to the band

Post by humphrey »

Just heard some outrageous tuba playing on the car radio coming home from a gig tonight & thought I'd let you guys know about it.

Steve Sykes arrangement played brilliantly by Joe Cook in concert with the Northern All Stars band.

The link should take you to the playlist page for the program where you can click on the "listen again" button. It's around 10 minutes into the program.

Well worth a listen.

It was good stuff...nice to see the crowd liked it too!!

(BTW for those of you that don't know Joe Cook is principal EEb bass with Black Dyke...isn't he a maths teacher or something)
