What Kosikup mpc came with B&H Imperial EEb tubas?

I dont think there were different sizes of kosicup mouthpieces , just 1 size fits all.. I am going down to a bandroom later this evening where there is a boosey Eb tuba and Kosicup Mp.
will check later and report later.

I haven't seen the KosiKup tuba mouthpieces but I have had experience with the euphonium mouthpieces and there are at least two of those.

BTW, the Kosi-Kup (sp?) was the only mouthpiece that made the old Besson Imperials intonation work, in my experience. Plug it in and the horn played well (that is to say, a lot better) in tune.

Rare mouthpieces and since certainly the Imperials are outmoded at this time, so what's the point?

All sorts of points: museums, reinactment bands, period pieces for movie sets, I just personally like the tone and intonation of my 35 year old Besson better, less cost (for example, I found several mouthpieces for my King cornet, which has a slightly wider than standard flare to the shank, and my total outlay on eBay including shipping for examples in perfect condition was less than US$50. To get one custom made starts at US$125 or so.), restoration projects, research about the company, basis for development of new models (You don't know where you're going until you know where you've been, and those who don't study history are doomed to repeat its failures), repair parts to keep the one you already have going, and I'm sure there are a whole boatload more.

I've run across B&H Kosikups marked "1 1/2" & also "3", but they were not with their original horns, so I don't know what they were made for.

As far as playability, I agree. Having the Kosi-Kup is good for historical accuracy, but day-to-day playing I use a Wick 1 for BBb and a Wick 2 for Eb. As the Eb I'm borrowing has intonation problems, I'm wanting to get a Wick 3. All old-style, of course.

My very first euph I ever played in school;

came with a Kosicup 3, great mouthpiece you could play all day long on. Our Imperial tubas also had no.3's but baritones had a choice of the small 1 or 1 1/2.

Note that Bessons of that time came supplied with 'Prototype' m/p's.
