For tuba?

There are a couple of songs for trumpet and trombone that I would like to write out and play on tuba. What songs would you like to do this for? Are there any laws about this, if I am not going to sell any of it but may perform it?

I steal from all those I consider to be the best. There is only a problem when you decide to record some of this stuff. You have to pay up on royalties and all other legal obligations or your head can be under the axe.
Performing charges are supposed to be paid by the venue owner(s).

I transposed "La Virgen de la Macarena" from trumpet. I highly recommend it for getting ego issues out in the practice room before any rehearsal...

I have done my own version of Vals Venezolano, similar to the one done by Alan Baer and recorded on his CD. I enjoy playing it and even did it on my brass jury this past semester. Since it is a guitar piece originally, I thought about writing out an accompaniment part for guitar!....I would like to trade a copy of it to Carol Jantsch for a copy of her version of the Khachaturian concerto!
