Congratulations on your new tuba. The Miraphone 188-5 CC is an excellent instrument. I just acquired one last month and really love it. The sound and intonation are outstanding.

the 188 is a fantastic. i new a girl who's now a UNT that played on one. look her up, she's a fantastic player. UNT is a fantastic school, but have you looked into going to Sam Houston State University? the studio is phenominal and the teacher, Robert (Bob) Daniel, is amazing. give it a look and have a lesson. even if you still decide on UNT the lesson will be worth. cheers!
