Chamber Orchestra with Tuba
What are your favorite pieces that are scored for no more than 30 players with chamber orchestra instrumentation (not just brass and percussion) that includes tuba as part of the ensemble (not necessarily as soloist)?

S. Revueltas wrote a couple of pieces for small chamber orchestra for around 18 players. 2 of them are Homenaje á FederÃco Garcia Lorca and Senarios Infantiles. Both have GREAT tuba parts that can be played on CC or F tuba depending on your taste and the instrument you have. On a related note, Sensamayá was originally written for chamber orchestra without tuba. He later did a revision of the piece and we now have what us tuba players like to think of as the original.
