The current Flute Talk has just published their 25th anniversary issue. In it, they reflect on all of the great players who have been interviewed for their magazine; Julius Baker, William Bennet, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Jimmy Galway, etc.

There's a compendium of quotations from all of these woodwind luminaries, along with photos of them with their little two foot-long pipes. Among these, there's this guy with a tuba--Arnold Jacobs.

Mr. Jacobs contriubted to Flute Talk on several occasions and he is remembered for it--the only non-flutist in the bunch.

I thought that was really wonderful. 8)
