Hi, All;
As many of you know, I obtained a '50s film of the NYBQ teaching children all about brass instruments. Each player and instrument are featured.
I just got the film back, and it's really enjoyable! I want to clarify one item of importance, however; the tubist in the film is not Harvey Phillips....it is Herbert Wekselblatt.
I just called him and told him about the film. He is delighted!
I'm sending him a DVD today.
When I obtained the film, there was not a cast list attached to the can, and I only surmised it was Harvey Phillips after a Google Search listed Mr. Phillips as the tubist of the NYBQ around this time period.
In light of this discovery, I am offering a refund to anyone who was contributing to this transfer merely because they thought Harvey Phillips was appearing in it.
Please let me know if you'd still like to have the DVD, or if you'd prefer to receive a refund.
Best Regards,
Steven

The contrary, now I am interested. I must have missed your project when it came around the first time. Will you let others in? What is the price?tubahed wrote:Please let me know if you'd still like to have the DVD, or if you'd prefer to receive a refund.

Hey Steve,
Are you the one coming over to my house tonight?
If so... What are the chances I can get one of those DVDs off you?
Also... How's 8:00pm?
If it's not you coming for the lesson... please silently disregard this message and count me in for the DVD anyway.
Well... You can come to my house if you really want to. I'll even throw in a lesson.
