Army Band in Crossword

The U.S. Army Band appeared in the New York Times crossword(at least in San Antonio, Tx.) yesterday. Did anyone else notice this?

It was in the following clues:

15 Down Pershing's ___ (3 letters)
45 Down Home of the U.S. Army Band ______ (6 letters)

I thought this was rather interesting. I wonder if any of "Pershing's Own" from Ft. Myer noticed this.
