Conn Tuba?

Post by Tuba-G Bass »

Hi Ivan,
BBb right?
I think it's a Conn 5J, since its a front action four valve.
It would be a 15J if it had three front valves.
Conn made a 3J and 4J in CC as well, before going to the 52J, 54J and 56J CC's.
By the way, I am a customer of yours, and I will be placing
another order soon, I lost my Bayamo this summer, I've been
using my Diablo with my Conn 6/4 24J,
but it's just not the same as the "big" bowl!.
Cheers,

Ivan,

That's a 2J if in CC or 4J in BBb. It's hard to tell the key from the picture. I'm sure you've already figured out the key.

Ivan — As far as I can tell from the pic, it looks like my 2J. The serial number on mine is 734xxx, very close to yours. That might be a clue as well.
