Just use a thin coating of Vaseline. Problem solved.

Of all the treatments mentioned, most are good, but I respectfully completely disagree with Vaseline. Petroleum jelly does not help your lips. It may feel better momentarily, but all it does is cover it up, preventing air and needed moisture or hydration from getting to them, and in the long run actually contribute to dehydration and the harboring of bacteria.

Even though ChopSaver is my favorite, any of the above EXCEPT Vaseline. Save Vaseline for the valve slides.

This and Vitamin E oil is all that I use
