No to try to steal any of Uf's thunder, but;
I too am a happy tuba player, I recently got hired for my first well-paying tuba gig, I summer at Busch Gradens Williamsburg playing in the "this is Oktoberfest" band!

YBYSA is the common acronymn in our province that most don't get. ( I should say former )

ROWYCO sounds like a tough one. Probably really obvious or an inside joke.

Never was in a fraternity but you guys got me pondering what it would take to make most tuba players happy. Such as:
1. A nice tuba in the key appropriate to the task.
2. For many, enough gigs to buy some gas, groceries and pay the bar tab.
3. A musical group to play with that is headed in a positive direction.
4. A smokin' good playlist to be proud of.
5. Good audience reaction where ever you go to play.
What else should I add?
