I need a mute for my Eb for my brass ensemble, and I was wondering if anybody ever used this:

My bell is about 15", so it looks as though it will fit, but my flare is like the flare of a Besson 981 Eefer. So any feedback on this mute or if you think it would fit a 981 would help a lot!

Check out the discussions about Balu mutes on the list. I have one and because of the interchangable corks they're usable on nearly any horn. They sound great, look gorgeous and the price is amazing considering the quality of the product. I have one and use it on my 4/4 Nirschl and my YFB-822 with great success.
