Listen to 2 Tuba "Lullaby for Amelia (Roylance)"

Post by enewberger »

Dear Colleagues,

Here's the recording of the world premiere of Howard Frazin's sweet lullaby for 2 tubas, played by Mike Roylance and me in Faneuil Hall in Boston on March 18, 2007. It's just down from the top of this page: http://www.elinewberger.com/music_listen.html

"Lullaby for Amelia" is dedicated to Mike and Amanda's wonderful little girl.
We hope you enjoy it.

If you're interested in performing the piece or to learn about "Theme and Reverberations" for 2 tubas and chamber orchestra, premiered at the same time with the Boston Classical Orchestra, please write directly to Howie at howardfrazin@aol.com

Thanks, Eli. Beautiful piece, and it sounds like it might be one of those deceptively difficult ones--simple, elegant and hard as the dickens.
It is impossible to make things foolproof because fools are so ingenious.
