I was so saddened when I read this that it has taken me several days to be able to post. I met Tara last June and heard her play wonderfully at IWBC. I spoke to her several times there and then again the next week at the Potomac Competition. She was such a nice young lady and had such a promising life ahead of her. She will indeed be greatly missed.
I sat down the row from Tara in the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony in 1998-1999. During last night's performance at Severance Hall, Dr. Gary Ciepluch and the group dedicated a performance of Holsinger's "Ballet Sacra" to Tara's memory.
