Hello All
I was wondering if any one within a hundred or so miles of St Louis MO owns a Conn 56j and would be willing to let me come by and test drive it for an hour or two. I am currently playing a Willson 3050 and am looking for a little different CC tuba.
Thanks
Alex

I know the tuba does not matter. I have had the Willson for almost five years now and I thought that I would look for a tuba that is less of a cannon and more of an all around instrument seeing that I am doing just as much teaching as playing these days.

PS I am still hope that someone may have a Conn in the St Louis area to
try. Peace

Yup (56J)Alex F wrote:Steve Inman plays a 56j and lives around Kokomo, IN. I'm not sure how close that is to St. Louis (there's that Illinois thing in between) but you might give him a shout. See his message in the "cc conns" thread.
Yup (in Kokomo)
Nope (not too close to St. Louis)
But ... I might be "reasonably" close?
Send me an email or PM and we can discuss. You'd be welcome to visit the farming-flatlands of north-central Indiana and toot on my 56J.
