Eb Sousy

Post by MaryAnn »

Seeing all the posts of what people are doing on the 4th, I've decided I should pick up an Eb Sousy and get good at it. What should I get that is lightweight and plays in tune?

I always liked my c.1950 Conn 26K;

It played like a REAL tuba and was brass/silver but was pretty lightweight (felt lighter than the BBb fiberglass things I was playing against, anyway)
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Scooby Tuba has a bee-yew-tee-ful Eb helicon FS in (where else?) the FS section of this forum .... (I haven't seen it listed as "sold" yet ....)

If I needed an Eb, I would take a flyer on your Conn, Ben.
Did you play it on your recent c.d.?
We pronounce it Guf Coast

Amusing that a good one was sold before I even got a chance to look at it.
I've been dealing with forest fires at work, was here 14 hours on Tues and also the morning of the 4th. Still at it, no time to hardly even glance at Tubenet.
Yeekers. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.
