American Trilogy

Post by greggu »

I'm looking for American Trilogy.
I played it late in the last century in H.S. I don't know for sure the composer of the version I am seeking, but am assuming it is Jay Chattaway (Navy Band and Star Trek guy). They recorded it in the 1970's. I'd like to here it or see a score on line to confirm it. The problem I'm having is that there are three other composers who use the same title: Elliot Del Borgo (not it, but not a bad song), James(?) Curnow (I haven't heard it) and (?)Balent (have not heard it).

Please help me or refer me to another online resorce where I could find this.

Maybe some one has the old Navy recording.

Thanks,
Greg

Smith composed American Folk Song Trilogy, which contains "Johnny Comes March'in Home" as well.

Thanks, though.

Not New England Triptych by William Schumann?
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
