YES!!!!! Call Baltimore Brass or Dillons. I have also purcheased a couple of the VMI 3302's (4/4 piston) and they have been work horses...

Accent horns are okay. They play a lot better than I personally expected for the price. Some of the low range is a little iffy, but for undergrads not planning on playing tuba for a career, I think they'd be just fine. Certainly they would be better than the top action holton I played on for much of my undergrad career.

We sell the 2341 in that neighborhood on a school bid.
I'm just not sure that you'll find anything as durable in that price range.
