By the way, the performance of the Elgar Howarth setting of "Pictures" in the first session. For you Tivo-addicted folks, it's at about 2:43:00.

The second session has a massed brass performance of Peter Wiegold's "He is Armoured Without" (2 brass bands, Coldstream Guards, some native trumpeters from Tashkent, a bunch of tubas....) at about 1:30:00. Interesting--and loud.

There is a nice performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams' brass band work "Overture to Henry V" in the afternoon concert at exactly 59 minutes. The band I conduct performed this a couple of years ago - it's nice to hear live performances like these.

Thanks for the links, Chuck.
