In a few months, it will be commercially released.
I, with the help of my friends, John Rider and Mike Thornton will be recording it shortly. It will be included in my solo disc of new/unrecorded/under-recorded music to be released this winter.
I was planning to record this month, actually. Then my job got busy... dang uncle Sam.. always getting in the way!
Please stay tuned for more details. We've been busting our butts on this project, and I sure do hope the finished product represents all of the hard work put into it.
On a side note, I'll be playing 3 pieces that will be on the disc at NERTEC. Sunday morning, right after Gary Buttery.
Sonata Ritmico Sy Brandon
Ballade Jan Krzywicki
Variations on Barbnacle Bill, the Sailor arr. Hafner
(Sorry for the extended shameless plug. I'm realizing how difficult it may be to market a tuba solo CD. I expect the same successes as Sousaphone Hero!)
