This is a brand new transcription done in-house by Don Patterson. No wire choir, no swastikas. There's a fair amount of old-school band rep on this tour. I'm looking forward to the programs. Check out http://www.marineband.usmc.mil/calendar/ and click around on the October and November dates to get an advance look at the repertoire. Lots of solid stuff this year.

I'm confused. The website says the band will visit Connecticut, but no concerts are scheduled....

Cameron Gates, Paul Mergen, yours truly. It's going to be fun in the back row.

The PAO gang is finishing the website updates this week, and I believe all of the tour information is online now. We're definitely going to be in Connecticut. My little brother lives near Hartford, and I'll be counting on getting a few loads of laundry done while we're in the neighborhood.

Ignore the body of the page and the cute li'l map. Click on "tour itinerary" button in the upper left of the page and simply scroll down to Conn. Government! :(

The calendar has all the program info, too. Find the concert dates in your area and go to the calendar to see what has been programmed for those dates.

We are underway. Just finished the first concert in Chambersburg, PA. Full house, too. The gang back in D.C. was busy today helping to install a new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and they've got a parade in Quantico on Wednesday morning.

Next stops are all PA stops... Lebanon, Wikes Barre, and Lewisburg.

Gary is almost to $4300--hook him up.
