Music Stores with Tubas in North Fla...?

Post by AsiagoCheezBagel »

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of any music stores with a good supply of tubas in the North FLA/southern GA&AL area. I am looking to buy an F horn but I am afraid to buy without playing it first. Most of the horns I'm looking at are Meinls and Yamahas. Most of the people selling their horns on here live a bit of a distance from me. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I don't know of any stores up there, but the FMEA conference in the beginning of Janurary would be a great place to go. They'll probably have horns there for you to try out, along with a bunch of other things.

At one time Cadence Music in Ft. Myers had some professional tubas in stock. It's quite a long drive from North Florida so give them a call first to see if it's worth your while. (Phone (239) 275-6262 ~ (800) 262-BAND (2263) ~ Fax (239) 939-9997).
Amongst aviators it is often said that any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. It's an even better landing when you can reuse the airplane.
