Solo Christmas Carols

Post by oneiozz »

Ok, so I did a bit of searching, but I'm having a hard time finding carols for a solo tuba. I would even take baritone/euphonium music in bass clef, but everything I find is for duos or quartets or otherwise.

I had a friend who played euphonium each christmas for the salvation army and had this kind of music for a solo instrument, and I would really like to find a collection like that.

Know where to point me? Thanks in advance!

I most often just read the top line in a piano score.

Last year, I got a great book called "The Ultimate Christmas Fake Book." It's published by Hal Leonard, and has 275 songs, including a bunch I never heard of. It's in the usual lead sheet format: treble clef, with chord changes. Available at the usual sheet music dealers.

Cheers,
Allen
