I was just looking at BBC's website http://www.baltimorebrass.net/index.php?cat=5 and noticed a difference in a 2165 and 2165L. Are they the same horn? the 5th valve is different. Picture mistake?

Disclaimer...I am in no way accusing Baltimore Brass of doing anything on purpose, I am merely curious about the difference in the horns. Perhaps there are things different with the Deck horns and 2165L's

Again, it's not a 2165. It's its predecessor, a M/W copy of Don Little's Holton (forgotten the old M/W model number...), before Warren got ahold of it and made a bunch of changes, including dispensing with 2 bows.the elephant wrote:This may be a one-off that was custom done. I have never seen a 5 loop 2165 before.
It's simply a mislabeling by Baltimore Brass.
