Curtis Metcalf

Post by David »

Has anyone heard of him? Curtis used to teach ad O.D.C.V.I. in Orillia, and I now believe he's teaching Newmarket (just outside Toronto in Canada) at Pickering College. He's the artistic director of Hannaford Street Silver Band and their (very talented) euphonium soloist
I havent talked to him in 3 years. Tried emailing him, and phoning the college all to no avail. I'm not even sure if he still teachers there.

Does anyone know how I can get in contact with him?

FYI, Curtis is now in his second year of teaching at the University of Toronto. If you can't get him by e-mail you can try calling the Faculty of Music (http://www.music.utoronto.ca/)

Wow. That's great for him! I new he was tired of teaching the kiddies. Working out of Toronto anyway because of Hannaford, I dont know why he didnt make the move to U of T sooner. Having him teach High school's like having gold plated rims on a motorhome. A waste.

I already emailed his hanaford address. But ill check the U of T thing to. Thanks loads.
