I went to Thomas Downey High School in Modesto, California with Tony Clements. He played Tuba and I played euphonium. as I recall, he had moved from NY to CA just prior to this time (1968-1969). We talked music a great deal back then. Does Tony lurk here? I'd love to make contact again.
