Washington Post Article

Post by Rex Roeges »

I’m not trying to be a troll here, but I thought that this recent Washington Post article would be of interest and germane to the recent discussions about the popularity of well-performed classical music.

What do you think?

It is a current event, as Gene Weingarten was just awarded the Pulitzer Prize for this article!

The Pulitzer-freaking-Prize for an artical on artistic relevance. Perhaps there's hope after all!

The article was actually published about a year ago, the situation was in January 2007. I hadn't seen it discussed here previously, but it's been bandied about on several lists.
