Does anyone know of a U.S. company that can deal with Schlipf mutes? I want the practice mute that is flush inside the bell (I know of no other maker that has something like this).
I've had correspondence with Johann Schlipfinger, but he'll only take a check in Euros, and my budget personnel isn't comfortable doing that. (He said he was going to ITEC this year but I wasn't able to attend).
Also does anyone have and use his straight, cup, or tour (Mnozil Brass) mutes and if so, what do you think of them?
Thanks

He may have what you are looking for, as I believe he left Cincinnati with a handful of these mutes.

I am convinced that 90% of the problems with rhythm, tone, intonation, articulation, technique, and overall prowess on the horn are related to air issues.
