Gomalan Brass Quintet

Post by Steve Oberheu »

Don't know how many people already know about Gomalan Brass, but I'll throw it out there again....

This is truly superb brass playing!! Everything they do is musical, highly detailed and loaded with character. If you don't know who they are already, check out the videos on Youtube and get your learn on...

Here Here!!!

This group plays so beautifully! It is good music with just the right hint of comedic relief. I love the space music video and the transcription of Barber's Adagio.
That is one piece that I absolutely love and do not usually care for transcriptions of. This quintet arrangement, which was done by one of their trumpet players, is one that I really enjoy!

Do check these guys out!!
