Of Walruses, Cheesecake and Morse Code
I came across it in the library the other day and took it out. It looks interesting but does anybody know much about it?
To be a bit more specific:
http://toroprod.library.utoronto.ca/uht ... ield1=CKEY" target="_blank^SUBJECT^GENERAL^^words+or+phrase&searchoper1=AND&thesaurus1=GENERAL&search_entries1=CKEY&search_type1=SUBJECT&special_proc1=&CFID=8733654&CFTOKEN=96312393
(sorry for the link, tiny link didn't seem to like it)
Of Walruses, Cheesecake and Morse Code
(1972)
by Thomas Beversdorf
i. The Unraveled Cluster
ii. Duo and Repose
iii. Jazz Improvisation #3
iv. Dots, Dashes, and - Splashes
Searches have turned up very little (specific searches for each of the movements turned up nothing as well). I can find a bio of Thomas Beversdorf but little else. Any ideas who it was written for? Where the name comes from. I'd say the name was odd enough that it had to mean something, but... Any ideas?

You should program the piece just for the title alone. Give it a run and see how she goes.

Thats pretty much what I was going to do. Program the recital around it.Tom Holtz wrote:You should program the piece just for the title alone. Give it a run and see how she goes.
