Cronkhite Case and MW-182

Post by bill »

I received a Glenn Cronkhite Case about two hours ago, for my M-W 182 F tuba. Glenn was able to construct a really well fitting case with just the measurements we made and a conversation over the phone. He never saw anything of the tuba except a couple of pictures I had posted here. I know there were a couple of you who wanted to have a Glenn case for your 182s so Glenn now has a pattern and can easily make a case for you. The workmanship is superb as it is with my other Glenn Case and he did the work, from making the new pattern to the shipping, in about 3 weeks. Here are pictures of the case with the 182 both closed and open.

What wonderful service from Glenn! :D

Looks good, can't wait to get mine! Thanks for doing all the leg work! Hopefully he can sell enough to make it worth the trouble...

Just curious, what did the case for the MW 182 cost? Is it the same as other tuba bags?

Yes, they are the same cost as other Glenn Cronkhite bags. I assume that the sewing is the same or, maybe a touch more difficult than the larger cases. But the pattern exists and they can be made as regular production. His site is at: http://www.glenncronkhite.com/index.html
