Broughton Orchestra Accompaniment?

Post by Tubaguyjoe »

Im getting ready to do the concerto competition here at my university and I would like to play the Broughton. Ive been told that it only has Wind Ensemble accompaniment. I really would like to play it because its a fantastic piece. Has anyone seen it for orchestra and where I would be able to get a hold of it? If not no big deal...theres always the Vaughn-Williams...haha.

Carol Jantsch performed a couple of movements from the Broughton with orchestra at the Henry Mancini Institute. I believe that the orchestration was by the composer himself.

Yes, there is a new orchestration. Talk to Tommy about it. He could get you in contact with Bruce Broughton.
