Mout(h)piece help

To elaborate a little on the above advise: Which mouthpiece is your best choice is difficult, if not impossible, for any of us to say. There are many variables. What type horn, what type of ensemble, your experience level, strength of your embouchure, etc. All of these, and more, factor into what your best choice is. Therefore, the above advise is actually pretty good. Most of us learn a little about characteristics of various mouthpieces and follow this with a certain amount of experimentation. Therefore, trying various mouthpieces may be your best bet. If you have a teacher or musical observer, they could be of some help to you. The teacher should know something about your playing characteristics. The musical observer can be useful in listening to you while you compare mouthpieces.

Best of luck in your search for the ideal mouthpiece. Let's hope that it proves to be more successful than it does costly.
