Fnugg in F?

Post by JHardisk »

Greetings,

Anyone out there in tuba land transposed Fnugg to play on F tuba yet? While it is quite easy to play in Eb on F tuba, I think it screams for an Eb and F tuba version because it moves around which notes are open and takes away almost all of the inclusion of a 2-3 fingering. Oyenstein obviously plays Eb tuba, and I think if he were an F player this very well may have been written in F.

Any other thoughts?

I'll be plugging this into Finale this summer for my very own (maybe original) Fnugg in F.

If you ask here, you might avoid problems:

Øystein Baadsvik may see a purpose in issuing versions for various pitches of basses.
