No, but I wonder if this is the same Sean Shurden who was in the 1989 Oklahoma All-State band. I believe he was 2nd chair that year and I was sitting 4th.

Yes, Sean was a great one. I think he was probably a sophomore in 1989 and made 2nd chair. I believe he made 1st chair every other year. At the time he was in Shawnee (closer to Oklahoma City) if that helps at all.
