Lamento for Tuba - Sofia Gubaidulina

Post by Tubainsauga »

I'm preparing this for a recital but I have very little information on it. Does anyone have program notes or any resources on the piece? I can't find anything obvious on the internet and very few print resources. Also, the copy of the score I have has no mention of piano resonance for the opening, though I've heard it performed that way. Any thoughts?

You may want to ask Dave Zerkel, I heard him perform it (very well indeed I might add), earlier this week.
